AJS Homes began with a moment of inspiration.

James Williams was building custom stereo speaker boxes when he felt called to something greater. With that faith, he began an apprenticeship, and that hands‑on training grew into the vision for his own construction business.

He initially partnered with a friend, but when that collaboration didn’t work out, James invited his wife, Alexis, to join him. Her organizational skill and practical attention to detail proved to be the missing link.

Together, James and Alexis have been turning clients’ dreams into reality. His innovative eye for design and craftsmanship blends seamlessly with her passion for planning and quality.

From custom homes and additions to renovations and commercial projects, AJS Homes approaches every job with care, integrity and a commitment to excellence.

    With over 17 years of experience in construction project management, field supervision, and quality control, James leads AJS Homes with a strong focus on craftsmanship, efficiency, and execution. He oversees all construction operations—from site planning to final walkthroughs—ensuring each project meets the highest standards.

    James’s leadership has guided the company’s evolution from a small remodeling service into a trusted name in residential and commercial construction across Central Arkansas. His hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset continue to drive the success and integrity of every build.

  • Alexis Williams

    CO- FOUNDER & OPERATIONS MANAGER

    As Co-Founder and Operations Manager, Alexis leads the administrative and client-facing side of AJS Homes. She manages business operations, client communication, and new project intake, while also overseeing licensure, compliance, and strategic partnerships.

    Alexis ensures that each project runs smoothly behind the scenes and that clients receive timely, transparent support from start to finish.

    Alexis’s leadership keeps AJS Homes aligned with its mission to build both strong structures and lasting relationships.
